Engagement session
Although the wedding day is the peak of a relationship, one always starts with two people casually encountering each other. That said, we not only want to showcase the beauty of the wedding, but tell the story of how two people cross each other’s paths and can never be torn apart afterwards.
For this reason, we have developed the concept of the “Casual Session”, or “Engagement Session.” Its primary focus is to get the couple used to being in front of the camera and feeling as natural and comfortable as possible when their wedding day comes along.
However, it is not purely for that sole reason. This love story, captured through the medium of photography, embodies in itself romanticism, laughter, utter joy and even passion, which portrays love at its best.
Therefore, we do not only offer the Engagement Session in order for couples not be camera-shy, but to give them the chance to capture their blossoming love and adoration with the help of beautiful, emotional and unforgettable photos.
With all the stress of the preparation before the wedding day and David’s final exams at the medical school just the day before the wedding, Geneva and David decided to have their “Casual photo shoot ” after the wedding. That way the stress was over and the couple could relax and enjoy the photo session.
Geneva and David’s engagement session
David and Geneva chose to have their Engagement Session at the Botanical Garden. It was a beautiful sunny day in the fall. The trees were full of bright colors. With a busy life between work, studies, moving to a new house and getting used to a married life, it was a great opportunity for Geneva and David it to enjoy a day out together and forget about it all.
For our engagement session we met at the big fountain at the entrance and started our adventure discovering this magical place. It’s been a long while since Geneva and David visited the Botanical garden for the last time, so they rediscovered a blooming oasis in the middle of the city. We played with falling leaves, the sunshine and different shadows. I think Geneva and David had a lot of fun because the images turned out expressive and emotional. We walked through the garden stopping at picturesque places like the fields, lakes and flowers. Geneva brought a few outfits, and the couple changed like professional models changed into different looks thought-out our photo session.
We were pleasantly surprised that there was an internationally acclaimed and gigantic exposition at the Botanical Gardens at the time of the photoshoot. So we were able not only to take great pictures, but also enjoy the giant floral masterpieces made out of plants and flowers
