5 WAYS TO LOOK MORE PHOTOGENIC

In preparation for the wedding day, here’s a few tips that are important to know
when posing for the pictures.

#1 – DON’T FORCE IT

As soon as we see the camera in our face, we panic and try to strike a pose.
Big mistake! The worst pictures are the ones where we try too hard to look good.
Remember those
drivers license photos?

Just relax and try not to pay any attention at the photographer. There’s so many
other things that require your attention on a wedding day. During the romantic
session focus on your fiance and enjoy your time together.

#2 – MOVEMENT

Dynamic is the key to beautiful images. We can’t hold a “passport” face while we move.
Even a very subtle movement completely changes the expression on our faces –
we start looking natural, calm, beautiful.

So adjust your hair, move your shoulders, hug your fiance, walk, dance, laugh, jump!

#3 – BE COMFORTABLE

These are straightforward strategies, that somehow miraculously get forgotten on a
wedding day. Remember, If you are not feeling well, it will show on your face.
Sleep well the night before. I know it’s a challenge, but try to eat something in the
morning & stay hydrated throughout the day. If there’s a lot of walking – have a pair
of flip flops with you Have a beautiful mini-coat to wear if its cold outside

#4 – INTERACT

Don’t focus on the photographer – interact with your friends and family.
Have fun! The best photos are reaction photos. That’s when you look your best.
If you don’t know where to look, glance at your favourite person in the room.
It will make your face shine with a natural beautiful smile.

#5 – MAKE UP AND HAIR

Don’t underestimate professional make-up and hair. Well done make up catches light in all the
right places on your face, eliminates shine & makes accent on your eyes and lips.

Remember that in photography make-up does not look as pronounced
as in real life. Even for a natural look, don’t be afraid of more makeup than you’re used to.
