Miranda and Steve Astonishing Wedding

The couples who come to LaVimage to capture their Big Day will never stop to surprise us. Different personalities, emotions, backgrounds and love stories always bring something new and inspiring and always leave marks in our hearts. And, of course, it’s the chemistry between two people in love that inspires us the most. Couple’s unique personalities shine throughout the whole day in all kinds of manifestations: accessories, decoration, venue choice and music. Miranda & Steve’s brisk wedding started to thrill us from the very first second we came to shoot the bride and the groom whom were getting ready. First of all, the number of sports cars around the place made us think that we were in the wrong place – this one must’ve been a Formula1 event. It was very different from a classic limo waiting upfront.

Then, we were fascinated by how amazing people they were: calm, polite, always smiling and joyful. Miranda’s beauty was standing out even more with her wedding dress; her eyes were sparkling with love and tenderness echoing in Steve’s smile. Pompous vaults of the Madonna della Difesa Church, conservative and serene atmosphere and astonishing architectural forms of the edifice, only added up to Miranda’s charm, making her look fragile and delicate while Steve looked like a rock – handsome, confident, strong, and ready to bring the sky down to Miranda’s feet and protect from anything ominous in this life. In her wedding dress from Lazaro Miranda appeared to be more of a fairy than a woman due to her grace and femininity.

We were trying to capture everything – every gesture, every emotion and movement, as they were so genuine and pure. Then it was another surprise – the reception. Club De Golf Métropolitain Anjou was definitely a good choice due to it’s modern but elegant architecture, spacious halls and great field with the view of Montreal. The leading colors were white and silver: massive white centerpieces in silver chandeliers, white chairs and sofas, beautifully decorated trees topped with white flowers from Casa D’Eramo, little candles in a drop-shaped candlesticks with a thread spangled with crystals. As addition to all this gorgeousness, the big ice sculpture of the table with grappa shots made an impression of a winter fairy tale.

However, the real magic to the ambiance brought the lighting by Showtime. Turquoise, sparkles of violet and pink reflected in ice, crystals, and mirrors gave this unique and artistic vide to the reception setting.
