The Science Centre Wedding-The Fashionable Jessica and Philippe
Color: White
Style: Vintage Chic
Tip from Jessica: If there’s something that needs to look perfect on a wedding day, it’s how you look. Spend as much time as needed to find the best hairdresser, make-up artist and the most gorgeous dress.
The Vogue touch
An extremely chic urban wedding planned by Tania Tassone and Leora from Blanc Events.
Jessica works at Vogue magazine and had a great sense of style and of the latest tendencies in wedding fashion. So it was no surprise the every little detail of the wedding looked over the top gorgeous. Jessica herself looked like a celebrity, in her Carolina Herrera dress, that was visiting Montreal. Philippe could not take his eyes of her, he sad: “I think I am on the runway”.
Philippe and Jessica, both originally from Montreal, met in New York, where they happened to live very close to each other. Jessica was everything that Philippe was ever looking for in a woman and more: beautiful, fun, bubbly, smart with a charming personality.
The couple was getting ready at Westin hotel. Robbie (the hairdresser) did an amazing hairstyle, as perfect as to the finest lines that the two make-up artists were doing with four hands.
The Wedding Ceremony
The wedding was held in the Chapel de Notre Dame de Grace and the reception at the Science Centre. Although it was raining all day, and we stayed mostly inside for the wedding pictures, the Science Centre provided a wonderful location. We managed to capture the feel of Old Montreal with its vibrant urban escape and with graphical lines and reflections. We used different tricks to make pictures interesting; for example we opened the doors behind them, and while the couple stayed inside, we could still see the beautiful city in the background.
The Science Centre wedding reception
The reception hall was beautifully decorated with white flowers. Everything was done with style and elegance: the tables, the centrepieces, the candles, the little menus – a true modern vintage fairy-tale. The Science Centre wedding hall has huge windows, so the guests were able to enjoy the sunset and the gorgeous view of down-town Montreal. At night we could see the fireworks in the sky. It was truly magical. While we still could not go outside because of the rain, but we still got a couple of fireworks images through the big windows.
Eventex did a wonderful job lighting the room for this fashionable Science Centre wedding. The dance floor was filled with lots of beautiful colours and textures, so great to capture the images of the first dance.
