What’s the perfect combination for a rustic-chic wedding? Start with a gorgeous sunflower-focused bouquet, add wooden flower boxes, perfectly placed branches and simple nature-inspired table settings and you may find yourself in a beautiful and unique dream of a wedding. We love all the planning, décor, and floral arrangements designed by Carte Blanche – it simply wouldn’t have been the same experience without them.
Allure of the Bride
Valerie looked breath-taking in an Allure Bridals gown that featured a sweetheart neckline and a navy-blue ribbon that perfectly highlighted her waist. The gown opened at bottom to reveal a gorgeous train and detailing on the dress showed intricate and impressionable patterns. After having her and makeup done by one of Montreal’s finest Hair and Makeup duos – Kat & Lea – she was ready to head to the church for the ceremony that would change her and Wayne’s lives forever.
A Start to the Celebration
Though some ceremonies can feel never-ending and tedious, Valerie and Wayne’s felt full of life. The couple wasn’t afraid to have moments of laughter and were full of joy the entire time. As they left the church they were surrounded by heart-shaped colorful paper airplanes that made us feel giddy and refreshed.
A Rustic-Chic Reception
What makes the rustic elements chic? Beautiful placement, decadent arrangements and a stunning location – The Montréal Science Centre. Les Glaceurs did an amazing job with sunflower-inspired cupcakes and treats, and the wide windows and Montreal landscape served to be an amazing backdrop.
This amazing theme reminds us of the importance of having one, and made for an incredibly fun evening of dancing, amazing food and love all around. It’s quite a feat making your wedding feel both rustic and elegant, but these two did so beautifully.
